The famed writer of Watchmen

and V for Vendetta created his Mandrill character as a pop up

agit-prop performance that

featured Alan dressed up in full Mandrill make up and ranting his Mandrillifesto at an audience gathered at his Northampton arts lab. DJ Greg Wilson saw it and saw the potential to take it further. So

far it has spawned a 7” release, a mixtape with music and mash-ups provided by Greg, Kermit from

Black Grape and a host of musicians all stitched together with jingles from Alan himself and a remix from Youth
